Andrew Klang is a singer-songwriter, producer, arranger, guitarist, and composer based in Boston, MA. Andrew graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2022 with a Bachelor’s of Music in Contemporary Writing and Production. He is the frontman and brainchild behind his pop/rock band, The Andrew Klang Band. 

 

Originally from Long Island, New York, Andrew has always had a passion for music. Andrew started playing guitar when he was 12 years old, and began writing songs soon after. He then attended Kellenberg Memorial High School, where he found his passion for singing in his school choir. After graduating, Andrew Klang attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music as a vocalist and guitarist. His major, Contemporary Writing and Production, extensively covered topics in arranging, songwriting, composition, and acoustic and electronic music production. Andrew began gigging at various venues and founded his debut band, The Andrew Klang Band, in 2021. 

 

As an artist, Andrew is heavily influenced by John Mayer, Passenger, Phil Wickham, Marcus King, and Kingfish. His specialty is writing acoustic singer-songwriter and indie rock tunes with ear-catching melodies and emotionally vulnerable lyrics. However, his artistry spans a multitude of genres, most recently in electronic dance music. Andrew’s expertise as a producer, composer, performer, and arranger includes the following genres: indie, pop, rock, blues, jazz, classical, film, hardstyle, dubstep, synthwave, trance, soul, house, latin, and country music. All of the music he writes is entirely self-arranged and self-produced in digital audio workstations including Logic Pro X and Pro Tools. He also has extensive experience using the musical notation software, Finale, as well as a variety of plug-ins including Melodyne, Autotune, Serum, and iZotope RX. 

 

Currently, Andrew is working on releasing an original EP and gigging with his band.
